Dear Group-pub-forum,

I would be very grateful for comments on the following problem:

Let G be a group and S_n the symmetric group on n variables.

Let G wr S_n = G^{n} \times S_n with the multiplication defined by

(g_1, ... , g_n , a)(h_1, ... , h_n, b) = (g_1 h_{1a}, ..., g_n h_{na},ab).

Is it possible to describe Aut(G wr S_n)?

Moreover, is it possible to describe Aut(G wr S_X) when X is an infinite
set?

Thanks,
Joao
