The structure and dynamics of real-world interaction networks are constantly subjected to random fluctuations and shocks. The resulting uncertainty in the behaviour of such systems has consequences for our understanding of social, financial and biological networks.This workshop will bring together experts from a diverse range of fields with a common interest in random effects in interaction networks. The programme will comprise plenary talks suitable for a general scientific audience, as well as a number of contributed research talks and a poster session.
Centre for Networks and
Collective Behaviour
This will be the inaugural event of the newly formed Centre for Networks and Collective Behaviour (CNCB) at Bath, aiming to foster better research links between mathematicians and applied scientists, and build collaboration across institutions. There will be a drinks reception to mark the launch of the CNCB.
