Description The face of this Victorian green man, found on the north-east corner of the chancel exterior, seems modelled on the famous green man inside the church. Yet here the face's expression is less complex, and he looks rather fey as he gazes off into the distance. He is a 'peeper', looking out from the surrounding foliage but not consumed by it. The oakleaves and acorns are well carved and make a pleasing frame for his face. Also at Sutton Benger
