| Description This rather weary-looking foliage-spewer is one of two green men decorating the lancet window on the exterior of Seagry church's south transept. His eyes are half-closed, which gives him a most drowsy expression. He has grown a fine set of lichens, which make him seem older than he is, for he cannot date from earlier than 1849, when Seagry church was built by the architect Hakewill. |
