Find Pairs of Specific Coiled-Coils

Use this form to pairs of leucine zippers which form specific pairings in the presence of one another.

Sequences

Enter sequences in the format of one sequence per line, sequences should be the same length, default alignment for sequences is that the N-terminal residues align.

Frame: a: b: c: d: e: f: g:

Frame is the position that the N-terminal residue is in, subsequent residues are in positions according to sequence abcdefg.

Maximum Homodimer Tm:

Sequences with a homodimer Tm greater than that specified will be excluded from the interactome screen.

Minimum Desired Tm:

Minimum Desired Tm is the minimum Tm required for a specific interaction identified in the interactome.

Maximum Undesired Tm:

Maximum Undesired Tm is the maximum Tm allowed for any undesired interaction identified in the interactome.

Minimum Delta:

Minimum Delta is the minimum difference allowed between the weakest specific interaction and any undesired interaction in the interactome.

Maximum Asn Residues:

Minimum Asn Residues:

Specifying minimum and maximum number of Asn residues allowed in sequences may be used to constrain the search space more rationally.

Exclude Anti-Parallel:

Some sequences may form anti-parallel coiled-coils which may lead to unexpected complexes, checking this box will attempt to exclude the formation of such complexes.
