bCIPA Library Screen

Use this page to screen a library of sequences against a single target sequence with bCIPA. This acts as an in silico version of the PCA experiment.

Library:

Target:

Library and target are the sequences screened for interaction affinity. Each sequence in the library is screened against the target.

The maximum number of sequences which can be inserted is

Frame: a: b: c: d: e: f: g:

Displacement1:

Frame is the leucine zipper frame that the target sequence starts in. Displacement is how many many residues downstream each library sequence binds to the target (see diagram here). This is useful for libraries which are shorter than the target.

Minimum Tm:

Breakdown bCIPA Scores: outputs core, electrostatic and helical propensity scores.

Setting a minimum Tm will only output those sequences which score better than the Tm specified. Selecting a breakdown of bCIPA scores will output the scores for the Core (C), Electrostatic (ES) and Helical Propensity (HP) parameters used to calculate the bCIPA predicted Tm.
