Details
The conference begins on Wednesday 27th June from 0900 with registration and collection of the conference materials. All delegates staying in campus accommodation will be able to check in to their rooms before this time.
A light lunch will be provided in the conference venue after which the first Workshop will begin. The workshop will be led by Professor Mark West and Ms Anne-Mette Manelius. On Wednesday evening, a hot dinner will be provided for all delegates in the University restaurant.
Thursday 28th June 2012 begins with breakfast (or registration for day delegates) from 0700. At 0900, Professor Tim Ibell (Head of Department, Architecture and Civil Engineering and Associate Dean for Graduate Studies, University of Bath) will give the conference welcome, after which Professor Mark West (Director, Centre for Architectural Structures and Technology, University of Manitoba) will give the first keynote address. Professor Remo Pedreschi (Professor of Architectural Technology, School of Arts, Culture and Environment, University of Edinburgh) will then give the second keynote address.
Following a break for coffee, technical presentations will be made by the delegates. After lunch, there will be four further sessions of technical presentations (two parallel streams).
On Thursday evening, delegates are invited to the conference drinks reception and dinner, which will be held in the City of Bath from 1930-2230. A menu will be circulated prior to this event and dinner choices should be made in advance.
Friday 29th June 2012 will include further technical sessions and Professor West will conclude the fabric formwork workshop in the afternoon. The conference will end by 1730, after which all delegates are encouraged to spend the weekend in Bath.
