I will be happy to supervise PhD students researching in the following
areas:
- Regional integration and trade agreements related to Latin America.
- The International Relations of Latin America, especially EU-Latin
American relations, US-Latin American relations, and the BRIC.
- History and Politics of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and
Venezuela.
- Any aspect of MERCOSUR.
- Political/IR theory related to questions of international power
and order.
Students under my supervision will be able to access facilities
and initiatives offered by the EU Civil Sociaty Dialogue (DG Trade),
the Bath Latin American Network and will be given the opportunity
to co-teach and/or run seminars in my units.

supervisor), 'Constructing the Western Balkans: The EU's Regional
approach from a Constructivist Perspective'.
