Electronic Flying Logbook - Changelog

Named cell ranges with user-defined limits (entered on Misc sheet) replace hard-coded ranges. This makes formulas more readable and allows processing of large databases with up to 64000 flights. In earlier versions, the hard-coded limits were around 3000 gliding flights and 1000 powered flights.
Note that named ranges may break statistics in some versions of Calc due to a bug, see FAQ page for workarounds.
Flight time database queries now work on 'PoweredQueries' sheet.
Added note that database queries with only time and/or distance may produce erroneous results if no other query fields are specified (may be set to .* as workaround).

Discontinued testing under NeoOffice.
Made clear that departure and arrival times in powered flying log should be given in UTC.

Queries sheet split into separate pieces for gliding and powered flying.
Added hours and distance columns to queries, which is useful e.g. to find all flights over 5h or 300k.
Increased font size in doughnut graphs. These graphs are still rather "fragile".

Added 'Misc' page with conversion table from minutes to decimal hours, and definitions of crew capacity, launch methods and aircraft classes.

'All Yrs' column in annual statistics table now shows flights before the reference date only, instead of all flights.
Powered statistics graphs changed to display number of flights instead of number of landings.
Footer on printouts contains space for holder's signature.

Currency and total flying tables now only compare first 2 characters of crew capacity, so that things like 'P1-US' or 'P2-UT' can be entered in the log.

New bar graph for yearly flying and doughnut graph for total number of flights and hours.
Statistics are now calculated based on a reference date.
