Tim Taylor's Personal Interests

I'm married to Glarice, who originally comes from Shanghai. She is a translator/interpreter (Mandarin-English). We got married in June 2006.

I have numerous interests: I enjoy all kinds of music and learning languages. I can so far speak French, a bit of German, a little Danish and a few words in Mandarin Chinese. I enjoy reading books, particularly Tom Clancy, John Grisham and Robin Cook (the American, not to be confused with the late former UK Foreign Secretary).

I run an international student cafe on Wednesdays, meeting people from all over the globe. The café is supported by Widcombe Baptist Church and other churches in the Bath area.. Others who help come from a number of churches in the Bath area.

I am also a Christian and actively take part in church life at Widcombe Baptist Church. I am a member of the Bath Chinese Christian Fellowship. Click here. to see why .
