N2  - Results on manufacturing and electromechanical properties of hydroxyapatite / BaTiO3 ceramic composites with ceramic volume fractions >0.7 are reported. Experimental volume-fraction dependences of the piezoelectric coefficients d31, d33 and dielectric permittivity K33T are explained using a composite model in terms of 1-3 and 2-2 connectivity.
