My PhD looks at the simulation of hot weather events in the built environment. The main areas of development are robustness of evaluation methods, assessment of building features and occupants thermal stress.
The thesis is supervised by Sukumar Natarajan and David Coley and it is associated with the following projects:
- EPSRC HHftD: Healthy Housing for the Displaced [2017–present].
- EPSRC COLBE: The creation of localized current and future weather for the built environment [2015–present].
- HHREC: Healthy Housing for Refugees in Extreme Climates [2016–2017].
