Welcome
New Chemistry of the Elements brings together academic speakers from around the world in honour of our highly esteemed friend and colleague, Professor Lord Lewis of Newnham. This exciting and broad-ranging symposium is to be held at The Royal Society in London on the 11th and 12th of December 2008.
The symposium is free to attend but it would be very helpful if you could send an e-mail to Professor Edwards’ PA, Linda Webb, informing us of your attendance and whether you will be attending on both days. Students are encouraged to attend.
Details of speakers, timetables and the conference dinner can be found using the menu to the left. All information contained within this site has also been compiled into a PDF File for your convenience. Further enquiries should be made to Professors Peter Edwards, Malcolm Chisholm or Paul Raithby.
Teas and coffees will be available at the intervals. There are no formal lunch arrangements but a wide variety of restaurants and snack bars are available within easy walking distance of the Royal Society.
