About me:

I received a BSc degree in Accounting in 1999, from the   Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), Mexico city.

In 2004, I was awarded a Masters degree in Research and Development of Education by the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) with the dissertation “The inequity of education in Mexico: the distribution of opportunities to accessing to the upper-secondary level”.

I have worked as a lecturer in basic statistics, research methods, urban cultures, management and accounting, etc., for the UIA,

Universidad Panamericana and Centro Universitario Grupo Sol.

I have also worked as an Associate Researcher for the Education Development Research Institute (INIDE) at UIA.

My studies in the UK are been funded by the Mexican Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONACYT), The Institute of International Education, the Banco de Mexico / FIDERH and the  shop Wrestling Masks and Other Mexican Stuff.
