TEACHING Return to Start

There follows a list of teaching materials related to subject areas. These may no longer relate directly to current teaching Modules which are likely to change over time and develop as new lecturers take over the teaching. However, I hope that the arrangement I have adopted is sufficiently robust to maintain its integrity. Materials provided are to supplement lecture courses and design projects.

COURSES
Building Environment Part 1 Introductory notes to the Built Environment. The priciples of comfort and how comfort may be provided by using the building to 'passively' modify the climate.
Building Environment Part 2 Introductory slides to systems in buildings. Maintaining comfort through the use of active systems to control the internal environment.
Building Environment Part 3 Slides related to design issues
Natural Lighting Detailed Notes on physical theory related to the natural lighting of buildings
Building Environmental Modelling A final year option of MEng in Civil and Architectural Engineering
Building Environmental Engineering A module of the MSc in Façade Engineering (MSc)
Research Methods A module of the MSc in Façade Engineering (MSc)

PROJECTS
Gallery Slides 1 Slides shown during introductory lecture
